8 Strangers, 8 Points of view... 1 Truth
Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) and Kent Taylor (Matthew Fox) are two Secret Service agents assigned to protect President Ashton (William Hurt) at a landmark summit on the global war on terror. When President Ashton is shot moments after his arrival in Spain, chaos ensues and disparate lives collide. In the crowd is Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), an American tourist videotaping the historic event to show his kids when he returns home. Also there is Rex (Sigourney Weaver), an American TV news producer who is reporting on the conference. It's only as we follow each person's perspective of the same 15 minutes prior to and immediately after the shooting that the terrifying truth behind the assassination attempt is revealed.

I wanted to see this since i watched the trailer.. It didnt dissapoint me.. Yes its filmed in 8 different character points of view..each one building to the final point of the film when it all comes together..thats the whole point.. Hence the title.. The acting is superb and just shows the skills of the actors.. Dennis quaid is one of them stars who really is a real guy whoever he portrays.. Some parts are a bit o.t.t, but its a thrilling ride to piece the film together as you get sucked in. Now everyone is entitled to an opinion, and this happens to be mine. The film is original and different.. Basic plot is the president gets shot, and then it follows 8 different characters, filmed with the same story, but each segment filmed with a different twist.. Buy this if it sounds the kind of film you could watch.. Its gripping, slick and explosive.

I think to enjoy this film you have to be fully alert. It's a great film, it really gets you thinking, avoid if you don't like to think! The storyline was simple yet effective and the acting was pretty good. Give it a watch!

If you like watching the same ten minutes of a film repeated from a different angle with a ponitless ending then this is the film for you, the trailer looked good, shame was that the advert was only played once, not several times with a stupid outcome.
