To people of our mother's and grandmother's age most of this stuff is common sense, but we come from a generation of women who have gone out to work and housekeeping has become a chore and something that is done if we absolutely have to and it can no longer be avoided. Anthea offers us amateurs a way to organise ourselves and not see housework as the lowest common denominator in our lives. We all pay a lot for our homes and hope to fill them with lovely things, but running a home is the hardest job in the world and if you don't keep on top of it it becomes overwhelming. This DVD is a worthwhile purchase if only for the tips, it also does your soul good to know that no matter how untidy your hall was it was still not as bad as the one's on the DVD.
